Scott’s ministry opportunities over the past several years include the following:
- Recently began participating in worship at Victory Assembly of God's Friday Night Prayer Gatherings
- Conducted counseling sessions
- Conducted discipleship classes
- Scott Carr Band (SCB) debuted on Halloween 2009 at God Wins Fellowship's Retreat in Belleplain, NJ
- Scott Carr Band (SCB) ministered an unplugged mini-set in Bridgeton, NJ at the First United Methodist Church in November 2009
- Officiated a wedding ceremony on the beach of Cape May, NJ and other weddings, including his nephew and his bride in October 2016
- Interim pastor for God Wins Fellowship in Millville, NJ from May 2009 - May 2010
- Provided pulpit supply for churches in Newport, Cedarville, and Paulsboro, NJ
- Scott Carr Band (SCB) appeared at the About Face Festival in September 2010 and 2011 in Rosenhayn, NJ
- Officiated funeral services
- Scott's family has performed together on various occasions
- Administered the sacraments of Communion
- Keynote speaker at a church retreat
- Served as Assistant Pastor
- Scott Carr Band (SCB) performed at Ranch Hope for Boys in 2015 and 2016
He has finished his first book, "Where Did the Dream Go?" and is in the process of getting it edited in order for it to be published and marketed. He has begun his second book, "You're Worthy of Being Loved," and has plans for many more, which will deal with practical keys to being a Christian in the twenty-first century, as well as a series of children's books about the adventures of a cow named Gertrude.
Presently, he is writing new songs, working through two music business courses (New Artist Model Essential Business Program and the Christian Music Industry Academy), along with editing, publishing, and marketing his first book, "Where Did the Dream Go?"
Scott is also working on rehearsing and booking his band, The Scott Carr Band, as well as his solo performances. In addition, he is accepting additional students for private lessons on guitar, piano, drums, bass, and music theory. Scott is always open to opportunities to preach and minister at churches as well.
