Ministry

Scott is wiling to travel. Please contact him to arrange for any of the following opportunities for ministry.

Preaching
He provides pulpit supply for pastors who are away or who would like for him to address congregations with challenging messages from God’s Word. This is not limited to Sunday morning services.

Teaching
As a master teacher, Scott is able to lead groups in discovering the truths of God’s Word during special events, church services and included as part of a seminar.

Four generations of ministers and missionaries with Scott being the seventh to be ordained.

Seminars
You can have Scott provide a weekend or day seminar specializing in the aspects of worship or the topic of your choice. He works well with pastors and congregations of all denominations. His focus is on the Word of God and how it practically plays out in our lives.

Church Retreats
Consider a refreshing time of worship and teaching from Scott’s ministry for your next retreat.

Concerts of Worship
Scott’s love is to lead people in musical worship to the throne of God. Experience a time of refreshment and renewal at any time you need this type of ministry for your church or event. He incorporates original songs along with contemporary and traditional music into his concerts.

Scott Carr Band
The Scott Carr Band (SCB) is an additional outreach branch of Scott Carr Ministries and plays mostly original material. It consists of the following members: Scott Carr, Sr. – vocals, guitars, keyboards, harmonica, bass, and drums; Scott Carr, Jr. – guitars and backup vocals; Jacob Rommel – bass and backup vocals; Mike Hughes – drums and percussion.

Scott Carr, Sr. – Scott is a public school educator and an ordained minister at Carll’s Corner Community Fellowship. He holds a Master of Ministry degree in music and a Doctor of Ministry degree in pastoral studies from Covington Theological Seminary. Scott is also a licensed minister with International Ministerial Fellowship with a specialty in worship. He has loved music since childhood and longs to help build the Lord’s kingdom on the earth through the gifts of ministry and music that God has entrusted to him.

Scott Carr, Jr. is, of course, Scott, Sr.’s son. He is currently a junior at Cumberland Christian High School. In addition to playing guitar and singing, he also plays piano, trumpet, harmonica, bass, and drums. He has a passion for the blending of ministry and music in his service to his Lord.

Jacob (Jake) Rommel first began learning bass guitar from Scott when he ministered at the Full Gospel Assembly of God Church in Vineland, NJ several years ago. Jake is also the bass player for “Adrian’s Fall”. He has also led worship for the youth at Full Gospel. Jake has a huge heart for people and ministry to them.

Michael (Mike) Hughes and Scott first started taking drum lessons from the same drum teacher, who was a trumpet player (lol). They both played in the Junior and Senior High School Bands together. They were also in a Christian band together in the 1980s. Mike is the newest member of the Scott Carr Band, and it is great to be involved in ministry together again after over 24 years.

SCB's debut performance was October 31, 2009 at a church retreat in Belleplain, NJ. It was Halloween, so they were shining the light of the gospel in the darkness!

They also played an unplugged mini-set at the First Methodist Church in Bridgeton, NJ. Scott’s daughter, Alisha, also joined them on piano, along with her brother, Scott, Jr.

They are scheduled for the About Face Festival in Rosenhayn in September. They will be playing on the 18th at 3:10 P.M., with Scott speaking as well. They will take the stage again on Sunday at 9:00 A.M.

They are available for ministering at your event. It is their desire to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music by the power of the Holy Spirit in order to see the lost saved, the captives set free, God’s children discipled, people healed and restored in all areas, and people refreshed and renewed because of their time spent together in God’s presence. Just contact them, and they will do their best to make themselves available for ministry to you.
